About Loughcrew
Loughcrew is home to a powerful collection of Neolithic passage tombs known in Irish as Sliabh na Cailleach — “The Hill of the Witch.” An Cailleach, often referred to as the Divine Hag or Wise Woman, is an ancient Irish deity and land guardian associated with creation, transformation, and the shaping of the landscape. Folklore tells of her leaping from hill to hill, dropping stones from her apron to form the cairns we see today. This Sacred Land Essence was created at Cairn T, the largest of the Loughcrew passage tombs. Cairn T is aligned with the rising sun during the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes, drawing people together for thousands of years to honour cycles of renewal and rebirth. At this site, the presence of An Cailleach can be deeply felt — veiling the land with a strong yet nurturing energy, often experienced as the loving embrace of a wise grandmother.

How to work with Loughcrew Essence:
Take 2-4 drops directly on tongue or in a glass of water. Take 1-3 times per day and use intentionally for 5-7 days making note of any shifts or breakthroughs. Trust your intuition while working with this essence as you may feel called to use for a season, during ceremony / ritual or as needed.
