About Loughcrew
Loughcrew is home to a collection of Neolithic passage tombs known in Irish as ‘Sliabh na Cailleach’ meaning ‘Hill of the Witch’. An Cailleach (Divine Hag/Witch) is an ancient Irish deity responsible for the landscape. Irish folklore tells of An Cailleach jumping from one hill to the next dropping stones from her apron to form the Cairns we see today. This sacred land essence was created at Cairn T, the largest of these passage tombs, and where An Cailleach can be felt veiling the land as she wraps us in unconditional love like a doting grandmother. Cairn T is the largest of these passage tombs and is aligned with the rising sun on the Spring and Autumn Equinox which draws hundreds of people to gather together and welcome the new. Loughcrew is an deep vast and powerful site and one I will forever enjoy unravelling and understanding its sheer magnitude and potential. Loughcrew welcomed me with open arms! The site is well-preserved and generally people go there to be in reverence so the energy is quite high. Loughcrew is a teacher, so when you connect with Loughcrew, listen deeply and surrender to the potential of her power.

How to work with Loughcrew Essence:
Take 2-4 drops directly on tongue or in a glass of water. Take 1-3 times per day and use intentionally for 5-7 days making note of any shifts or breakthroughs. Trust your intuition while working with this essence as you may feel called to use for a season, during ceremony / ritual or as needed.
