Imbolc - meaning “in the belly” , marks the first stirrings of life after the long dark winter months. It is the festival of beginnings-of-beginnings, when the frozen soil begins to soften and the first shoots push up through the dark soil. Though we are not yet in Spring, hope is awakening and the seeds dreamed in winter are ready to be planted.
This sacred fire festival is deeply connected to Brigid, Goddess and Saint, guardian of hearth and home, creativity and craft, healing and poetry. February 1st is now a national holiday in Ireland honoring Brigid, a living reminder that her flame still burns bright in our collective heart.
This 2-hour online gathering is an invitation to pause, reflect, and consciously cross the threshold into renewal.
