Ancestral Healing

A Samhain Journey

Four Sundays of deep, gentle work with your lineage.

November 1-22, live on Zoom.

As the Celtic wheel turns towards Samhain we move more deeply into the darker half of the year, the veil grows thin and our ancestors feel close. Each year we gather in community to listen to them, to heal what has been carried through our family lines, and to receive the guidance they hold for the times we are living in.

This is the sixth cycle of this annual ritual. It is not a lecture or a workshop. It is a sacred container, held with care, where you can do deep work in a way that feels safe.

What is ancestral healing?

Ancestral healing is an act of love, care and devotion for your path and the path of those who came before you. Together we tend to the patterns, wounds and unspoken stories passed down through a lineage, and open the way for more healing, blessings and belonging to flow, for you and for those who come after.

This year’s journey

Week 1 - Healing fear

Navigating the unknown stirs a fear that is ancient, even tribal. Our ancestors lived through war, colonisation, famine, flood and harsh winters. When change arrives, that fear can feel bigger than the moment, paralysing our decisions and keeping us from moving forward with clarity. As we heal this generational fear together, we find the access points to the knowledge our ancestors gained, teachings that can carry us through a harsh winter.

Week 2 - Honouring community

It takes a village, a phrase as old as time. Our ancestors lived in community, sharing food, raising children together, lending a hand. We now live in an increasingly individualistic society, and I believe this disconnection from one another and from the land that holds us is one of the sources of our pain. We’ll build the kind of relationships that nourish and steady you, and bring you home to what matters.

Week 3: Finding balance

Gender roles are changing. What was expected of your great-grandfather is not necessarily what you or your partner choose today. Together we’ll heal and evolve the power dynamics between our paternal and maternal lineages, so that we have more freedom to be our true selves and to choose our partners.

Week 4: Inviting rest

The stresses of everyday life have become a burden, and many of us ache for a slower, more present existence. Samhain announces the darker half of the year, a season of stillness, reflection and letting go. We’ll work with our ancestors to release the fear of resting and find presence.

What to expect

Each Sunday, we gather on Zoom for two hours of guided meditation, teaching, ancestral connection and healing, held within the energetic container of the group. You don’t need to be on camera to participate. If you can’t join live, every session is recorded and yours to revisit.

What people are saying

“Vicky has a way of making deep work feel supportive, gentle and transformative. I have been working on a relationship with my ancestors for some time, and it wasn’t until I took this course that things really clicked for me. I have had life changing shifts happen in my family that would be described as nothing short of a miracle.”
— T.B., USA
“Vicky is masterful. She gently and skillfully led us through the profoundly deep and heavy work of healing the trauma of our ancestors, and our lineage’s wounds that are held within our bodies. I felt so safe and held throughout the process, and my life will forever be changed. I’m extremely grateful for her, and her adept and gracious offerings. She is a true healer and an angel.”
— S.B., USA
“Doing ancestral work has helped me resolve patterns and habits that wouldn’t budge with years of therapy and bodywork. There is always work to do, but a lot of what I thought of as my own reactivity released when I got help healing trauma in my ancestral line. All those energies were flowing through me and creating my life. Healing at the ancestral level opened up a kind of freedom that I did not know was possible. Where before it seemed like there was only pain, now there is space for love to flow between me and my ancestors. I am excited to deepen into and nurture these relationships in this class.”
— M.G., Canada
“Taking the ancestral healing course with Vicky last year gave me grounding in connecting to my ancestors but also a deepening in bridging healing to my lineage. The way Vicky facilitated each session brought in a gentleness that was needed and I felt such expanse every session. I absolutely recommend this course for anyone ready to do this work! Vicky knows exactly how to walk along side of each person there with skill and ease. It was deep work but soft and welcoming all at the same time. ”
— A.S., Hawai'i
